Lockdown Life 2020: The artwork is part of the Lockdown series The virus has not brought down the “man”. It has merely snatched the little pleasures that the average middle class could distract themselves with, to get through life. The isolation of 2020 has brought forward many unwarranted emotions. One is left alone with one’s thoughts, forced to listen to and experience the feelings that have been suppressed for many lifetimes. Fixating on inanimate objects, listening to the silence, sitting with the self. This is still life.
